Timothy . Timothy was my constant companion for 14 years, he was my guardian angel and saved me from doing harm to myself when a disaster befell me. For 2 years of his 14 year life it was like the song "you and me against the world" he gave me a reason to live and as much as I looked after him, he was there for me. He did not have a bad bone in his body and was a friend to all he came in contact with. Timothy came into world in April 1979 in what I imagine was rather less than pleasant circumstances. I rescued him from an animal shelter in June of that year and we bonded immediately, he and I became the best of friends, he never knew hunger or lack of shelter or bad treatment, rather he received love and companionship and gave this back 10 fold. The greatest thing I miss which we did together was go on endless walks, we walked many kilometres together. . Because of an accident that resulted in a fractured leg the vet advised me that because of his age I would have to consider having him put to sleep which happened on February 20 1993. It felt I was committing murder to have to say goodbye to my best friend, but as was pointed out to me, he was in pain and by having him put to sleep painlesly I was taking the suffering away from him . It is now over 12 years since my dear friend left me and I miss him very much. With all my heart I hope I may see him again when my time comes. So long my dear friend Timothy

Please stay with us in spirit and keep us safe. I don't know how i'm going to live each day without you. Dalton, Sibby and Jasmine will miss you so. |
